Job summary

ACCEPT Education Collaborative in Natick, MA, is hiring a Teaching Assistant for Middle and High School programs. This full-time role starts immediately and supports students with special needs; training and competitive compensation are provided.

Qualifications

1–3 years of experience working with children and/or young adults
Associate Degree or equivalent experience
Safety Care certified or willing to get certified
Team player and dependable
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Ability to work calmly under pressure
Experience with students with special needs
Compassion and patience

Responsibilities

Work under the direction of Special Education teacher and Behavior Specialist
Assist with classroom instruction and support students
Maintain a safe, clean and supportive classroom environment
Track student progress with lead teacher to ensure academic progress
Provide assistance to students during non-classroom time and arrange recreational activities
Attend required meetings and trainings
