Job summary

Minneapolis Public Schools seeks a qualified Special Education Teacher for Edison High School for the 2026-2027 school year with a 1.0 FTE and 42 weeks. The role requires a Minnesota teaching license (or pending licensure) and involves collaboration with the STEM team to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction.

Responsibilities include using diagnostic, formative, and summative assessments, implementing inclusive practices, and engaging families to support student learning and success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university.
• Prior successful experience student teaching or teaching in an urban, multicultural education setting.
• Master's or PhD preferred.
