BASIS Phoenix South is seeking a qualified Special Education Teacher to join our bright, passionate team and support students with disabilities through IEPs and targeted interventions.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree, valid Special Education certification, CPR and First Aid training, IVP fingerprint clearance, and a satisfactory state background check. We offer a sign-on bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid Special Education certification for the relevant jurisdiction.
• CPR and First Aid training; IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and background check.

Responsibilities

• Work with students with disabilities in small group settings or 1:1.
• Implement IEP goals and coordinate with general education teachers.
• Provide specially designed instruction and related services.
• Collect, document, and report student progress for IEPs and state assessments.
• Collaborate with related service providers and families to ensure FAPE.
