Job Description

Elementary SEBS Program Teacher

Fausey Elementary School

We are looking for a teacher with experience teaching elementary students with Social Emotional and Behavioral difficulties. These students are taught in a small sub-separate environment.

Qualifications:

  • Provide training to staff regarding proper implementation of behavioral programming, teaching strategies, and data collection
  • Trained and certified in de-escalation techniques
  • Attend IEP meetings and develop IEPs for students in the program.
  • Monitor and support the implementation and effectiveness of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programming, and make changes/recommendations to enhance progress
  • Provide regular consultation services to teachers and support staff
  • Facilitate inclusion opportunities into the general education setting and community settings
  • Collaborate with specialists to implement procedures within the classroom setting to assist with carryover of skills targeted in general education setting
  • Help in the development of functional behavior assessments, and prepare and analyze results
  • Monitor and contribute behavior support plans and development
  • Consult with families/guardians and coordinate care/home services and wrap around providers
  • Carry out other related duties as may be designated

Salary: Per Unit A Contract (salary range:$53,939 - $102,056)
