Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Special Education Resource Teacher to support middle school students in Boulder, CO. You will develop and manage IEPs, provide targeted instruction across academics, behavior, and executive functioning, and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to create an inclusive learning environment.

Ideal candidates hold a Colorado CDE Special Education Generalist license (or on licensure in process) and a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special

• Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Special Education Generalist license or application in process.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of classroom experience.
• Flexible team player.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams & students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
• Provide specialized instruction in academics, behavior, social-emotional learning, and executive functioning.
• Deliver research-based interventions based on individual student needs.
• Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation and progress reports.
• Coordinate annual, initial, and reevaluation IEP meetings.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, related service providers, and families.
• Collect and analyze assessment data to guide instruction and eligibility decisions.
• Foster a safe, equitable, and supportive learning environment.
