Job summary

ProCare Therapy seeks contracted Special Education Teachers for the full academic year near Puyallup, WA. Multiple roles exist (Elementary Resource, Junior High Resource, Junior High Support Center) at 37.5 hours/week, plus a 0.8 FTE Elementary Resource at 30 hours/week.

All onsite with a school-year calendar, ensuring consistent schedule. Requirements include WA SPED certification (or eligibility), experience with resource or support center settings, and strong collaboration with general ed

Multiple rewarding roles are available, including Elementary Resource, Junior High Resource, and Junior High Support Center positions (37.5 hours/week), as well as a 0.8 FTE Elementary Resource Teacher position (30 hours/week). All assignments are onsite and follow the school calendar, offering you the consistency of a school-year schedule.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education teaching certification for Washington State (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with students requiring resource support or within support center environments
• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
• Aptitude for adapting instructional strategies to meet individual student goals
