Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or closely related field.
• Valid Illinois PEL with LBS1 endorsement, or eligibility to obtain credentials.
• Experience with neurodiverse learners including those with learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.
• Strong knowledge of individualized instruction, structured teaching, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to diverse learners.
• Design and implement instructional programming aligned with student goals.
• Deliver explicit, systematic instruction in reading, writing, and math.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate with families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records.
