Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or closely related field.
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement or eligibility.
• Experience with students with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and neurodiverse profiles.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group instruction to students with diverse needs.
• Design and implement instructional programming aligned with student goals and learning needs.
• Deliver explicit, systematic instruction in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Apply Direct Instruction and Precision Teaching to support mastery and fluency.
• Differentiate instruction within a structured setting to meet various learner needs.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret student data to inform planning.
• Monitor progress toward individualized goals and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation.
