Job summary

Barnegat Township School is seeking a Special Education Teacher of Multiple Disabilities for the Russell O. Brackman Middle School in New Jersey.

This role requires valid NJ certification in Students with Disabilities or related endorsement and preference for experience with ABA and autism support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong classroom management, collaboration with CST and administration, and the ability to address individualized IEP goals and PLAAFP.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Instructional Certificate – Students with Disabilities OR Teacher of the Handicapped
• ABA experience preferred
• Strong classroom management
• Ability to facilitate behavior with appropriate strategies
• Ability to meet the individual needs of classified students
• Knowledge of IEP implementation, goals & PLAAFP
• Ability to supervise and direct classroom paraprofessionals
• Ability to work with fellow teachers, CST & administration
• Experience with students with autism preferred
