Qualifikationen

• Valid Teaching License with endorsements in Special Education.
• Experience working with K-12 students.
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs.

Aufgaben

• Create and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEP) for each student.
• Communicate with staff and families about each student's progress.
• Prepare detailed lesson plans and submit them for administrators' approval.
• Participate in IEP meetings as scheduled by the school.
• Use individualized reinforcement techniques to support student progress.
• Invite family members to participate in each student's educational progress.
• Create and distribute progress reports quarterly.
• Confer with on-site therapists regarding disciplinary and behavioral issues with students.
• Create a safe, productive classroom environment.
