Job summary

Kenyon-Wanamingo Middle Schools has an opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) long term substitute Special Education Teacher, effective December 1, 2026 through April 19, 2027. The role requires teamwork with school staff to support students and apply proactive behavior management strategies.

Salary ranges are outlined in the Teacher Master Agreement. Licensed teachers in Minnesota with special education credentials are preferred. Open until filled.

Kenyon-Wanamingo Middle Schools has anopening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) long term substitute Special Education Teacher effective December 1, 2026 through April 19, 2027. This position requires a teacher who enjoys working closely with other teachers, social workers, paraprofessionals, and administrators in a team friendly environment. A quality teacher in this position can manage student behavior utilizing proactive, positive interventions, and ensure due process rights of students.

Salary range for 2026-2027 for is $45,932 (BA, Step 1) to $83,299 (MA+30, Step 15) based on experience and education. View the Step/Lane Schedule in the KWEA Teacher Master Agreement. Long Term Sub positions are paid at BA, Step 1 level for factoring rate per day. BA, Step 1 = Annual Salary of $45,932 or $255.18 per day. EOE
