Responsibilities

• Within the CPS Framework for Teaching, teachers should demonstrate deep content knowledge and effective instructional design.
• Create a respectful classroom environment with strong management and culture that respects diversity.
• Respond to the needs of all students with engaging, appropriately challenging instruction and assessments.
• Exhibit strong oral and written communication and professional judgment in interactions with staff, families, and students.
• Prioritize student safety and uphold the Student Code of Conduct and school-wide discipline systems.
