Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the school principal, teachers are responsible for instruction, progress, tracking, and discipline of all students in assigned classes.
• Demonstrate deep content knowledge, pedagogy, and student knowledge to design coherent instruction and assessments.
• Create a respectful classroom environment with strong management of student behaviors and procedures to support diverse learners.
• Respond to student needs by designing engaging instruction and aligned assessments.
• Communicate effectively with administration, colleagues, families, and students and exercise professional judgment.
