Qualifications

• Active Special Education credential for CO.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education.
• Experience with children or adolescents preferred.
• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instruction based on students' IEP goals.
• Provide specialized academic and behavioral support to students.
• Create engaging, differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning needs.
• Monitor and document student progress toward individualized goals.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and classroom support strategies.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and school staff.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student planning and goal development.
• Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, communication, and functional development.
• Maintaining accurate student records and confidentiality.
