• Active CT Special Education credential/license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Education or Special Education.
• Experience with children/adolescents is a plus.
• Knowledge of IEPs, accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement instruction based on students' IEP goals.
• Provide specialized academic and behavioral support.
• Create engaging, differentiated lessons for diverse learners.
• Monitor and document student progress toward goals.
• Implement accommodations, modifications, and classroom supports.
• Collaborate with general and special education staff and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and goal development.
• Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and functional development.
• Maintain accurate student records and confidentiality.
