Job summary

TSP Ed Co is seeking a compassionate Special Education Teacher to support students in a Maricopa County, AZ school setting. You will build meaningful relationships, foster an inclusive environment, and help students reach academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional goals.

Qualifications

• Active Special Education credential/license valid in Arizona.
• Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field.
• Experience with IEPs, accommodations and differentiated instruction.
• Strong classroom management, communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, patient and committed to helping students succeed.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing instruction based on students' IEP goals.
• Providing specialized academic and behavioral support to students.
• Creating engaging, differentiated lessons for diverse learners.
• Monitoring and documenting progress toward individualized goals.
• Implementing accommodations, modifications, and classroom supports.
• Collaborating with general education teachers and related service providers.
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to planning and goal development.
• Supporting social-emotional, behavioral, and functional development.
• Maintaining accurate student records and confidentiality according to policies.
