Qualifications

• Valid Texas teaching certificate in Special Education.
• Knowledge of ARD process and IEP development.
• Experience implementing specially designed instruction and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the ARD process to develop appropriately challenging IEPs.
• Attend ARD committee meetings regularly.
• Maintain knowledge of grade level curriculum and best practices.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement with formal and informal testing.
• Collect and analyze student progress data to inform instruction.
• Provide data-based academic and behavioral support recommendations.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement modifications and accommodations.
