Job summary

Anova Education is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher in Frisco, Texas, responsible for providing tailored educational activities for students with disabilities. Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of implementing student restraint as a last resort for safety.
• Demonstrated proficiency in creation, implementation and progress monitoring of specially designed instruction.
• Ability to individualize instruction to prepare students for participation in Least Restrictive Environments (LRE) to the maximum extent possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide students with disabilities appropriate learning activities and experiences.
• Develop modified curricula and instructional materials.
• Collaborate with parents and staff to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
