Job summary

Pediatric Developmental Services (PDS) is seeking a Special Education Teacher to help students achieve academic, social, and developmental goals through individualized instruction tailored to IEPs.

The role involves collaborating with families, school staff, and related service providers; participation in IEP meetings; and maintaining progress documentation. PDS offers mentorship, competitive compensation, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education.
• Valid certification/license in the state of employment.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, individualized instruction and support to students based on their IEPs and educational needs.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and related service providers to develop and implement effective strategies that support student success.
• Participate in IEP meetings, monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and adapt instruction to meet each student's unique strengths and areas of need.
