Job summary

You will design, implement, and monitor IEPs to empower students with diverse needs while collaborating with general education staff, families, and administrators to foster an inclusive, supportive learning environment.

The ideal candidate holds a NH Special Education certification or eligibility, and brings strong interpersonal and organizational skills to promote student growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Valid New Hampshire Special Education certification or eligibility for certification
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Experience with IEP development preferred
• Commitment to upholding best practices in special education

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique goals and abilities
• Provide specialized instruction and targeted interventions within general education and resource classrooms
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to coordinate support services and ensure consistency
• Track student progress, document outcomes, and maintain compliance with district and state special education regulations
• Encourage student independence and self-confidence using evidence-based instructional practices
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a positive, inclusive school culture
