Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools. You will work with school teams and families to address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs using SESI’s instructional models at smaller class sizes.

You will manage IEPs/BIPs, document progress, and implement safety and crisis-intervention strategies while collaborating to empower every learner to shine.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach a diverse group of students using SESI models and curricula.
• Develop and maintain individualized, skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and crisis strategies when needed.
• Maintain IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and monitor movement within the school.
