Job summary

Career Links is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year to support students with disabilities in a collaborative school team. This in-person, full-time role includes developing IEPs, providing specially designed instruction, and working with families, related service providers, and educators.

The position emphasizes IDEA compliance, progress monitoring, and promoting academic, behavioral, social, and functional skills, with sign-on bonus and relocation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education.
• Current or eligible Minnesota Special Education teaching license (PELSB).
• Able to meet Minnesota school district employment requirements, including background checks.
• Eligible for Minnesota Tier 2, Tier 3, or Tier 4 Special Education license.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs with parents, staff, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide specially designed instruction aligned with Minnesota standards and student goals.
• Adapt curriculum, materials, and classroom environments for diverse learners.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional, behavioral, and intervention strategies.
• Monitor and assess student progress toward IEP goals and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success.
