Job summary

Care Career is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction in a K-12 setting, aligning with IDEA compliance and district policies.

You will develop and monitor IEPs, differentiate instruction, and collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to promote student growth.

A valid state teaching license with a Special Education endorsement and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Strong classroom management and differentiation skills in diverse classrooms.
• Excellent communication with students, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for individualized instruction.
• Deliver specialized instruction and assess student progress.
• Maintain documentation and participate in IEP meetings and MDT discussions.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and other professionals.
