Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field required.
• Active Arizona Special Education Teaching Certification required.
• Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Knowledge of the Essential Elements of Effective Instruction (EEEI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction connecting academics to real-world skills and postsecondary success.
• Monitor progress using formal and informal evaluations and maintain documentation for IEP and state compliance.
• Collaborate with families, colleagues and multidisciplinary teams to foster a cohesive learning environment.
• Maintain a structured, positive classroom promoting student engagement and emotional safety.
