Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid special education certification with appropriate endorsement(s).
• SEI Endorsement/Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months (AZ only).
• Criminal history background check required.

Responsibilities

• Create a classroom environment that cultivates learning and engages students.
• Use direct instruction techniques to guide students through activities supporting growth.
• Employ varied instructional techniques and media aligned to student needs.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide reports as required.
• Identify learning disabilities and refer to specialists when needed.
• Maintain accurate records in accordance with policy and law.
