Job summary

Career Links is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students with disabilities. You will develop IEPs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and create an inclusive learning environment aligned with federal, state, and local regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Georgia educator certification in Special Education (P-5) or related area.
• Eligibility for GaPSC certification and background clearances.
• Ability to obtain background checks and employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Provide instruction aligned with Georgia standards of excellence.
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences.
• Maintain compliance with IDEA, Section 504, FERPA and state regs.
• Use data to track progress and adjust instruction.
