Job summary

Paramount Schools of Excellence seeks a PSOE Special Education Teacher to provide direct instruction, case management, and supervision for students, staff, and parents under the Special Education Director and Principal.

You will coordinate IEPs and 504 plans, lead assessments and reporting, and collaborate with school teams to ensure compliant, data-driven services across school sites and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (masters preferred) in the field of special education.
• Certification in restraints/Non-Violent Crisis Intervention preferred.
• Experience in full-time special education in a similar setting.
• Excellent organizational management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct support service to students, small groups, and classrooms.
• Uses data-driven instruction to deliver standards-driven instruction.
• Completes assessments, referrals, and conferences with students, staff, and families.
• Oversees implementation of IEPs and 504 programs.
• Maintains family communication and community partnerships.
• Participates in school-based behavioral/outreach teams.
