Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and valid CA Teaching Credential with Special Education authorization.
• Valid CA driver’s license, personal auto insurance, and driving record meeting Agency standards.
• Ability to work safely with potentially violent clients and complete health screening.
• Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates pupil needs to design and process academic and vocational programs via IEP.
• Develops, implements, and ensures curriculum is appropriate for individual students.
• Participates in hiring and training Instructional Aides; supervises them in curriculum and behavior management; maintains documentation.
• Develops and maintains behavioral intervention programs; collaborates with multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans.
