Job summary

Qualifications

• Utah special education teaching credential required.
• 2+ years of experience in special education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set learning goals for each student, assess progress, and record evaluations.
• Adapt general lessons to meet students4 needs.
• Develop individualized education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Plan, organize and assign activities specific to each student4 abilities.
• Update parents on student progress and enlist parental support with behavior strategies and home activities.
• Discuss student progress with parents, other teachers, therapists, BCBAs, and administrators.
