Job summary

Amergis in Menifee, CA is seeking an Education Specialist to support students with Extensive Support Needs (Moderate/Severe) in a school setting. You will develop and implement IEPs, work with multidisciplinary teams, and adapt instruction to promote academic, functional, behavioral, communication, and social-emotional growth.

This full-time contract covers LOA through Winter Break with a strong likelihood of extension.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• California Education Specialist Instruction Credential with ESN/Moderate-Severe authorization.
• Experience with IEP development, compliance, and federal/state laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction for Moderate/Severe ESN students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs per regulations.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families.
