You will report to the School Director(s) with coaching from instructional coaches and Academic Deans, delivering rigorous instruction and high expectations to prepare students for college success.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and NJ certification (or out-of-state cert), plus strong classroom management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a competitive college or university.
• GPA must meet minimum requirements for NJ DOE certification.
• Demonstrated mastery of content knowledge and ability to drive student growth.
• Prior teaching experience in an urban No Excuses school setting strongly preferred.
• Extremely strong classroom management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Report to School Director(s) with coaching from instructional coaches and Academic Deans.
• Prepare students for college success with rigorous instruction and high expectations.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to engage students.
• Plan and execute year-long lesson plans aligned to academic goals.
• Track and analyze student data to set ambitious progress goals.
• Collaborate with teachers to revise curriculum based on assessment data.
• Communicate with parents about student successes and struggles.
