Job summary

LEARN Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher with Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe certifications to support students with diverse learning needs in Corona, CA. This full-time role emphasizes individualized, evidence-based instruction and collaboration with families and school teams.

You will develop IEPs, provide SDI, and monitor progress in a supportive environment with a small class size, ongoing supervision, and access to comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field.
• Valid Arizona Special Education Credential (or enrolled in a program for certification).
• Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification.
• Autism-specific or related certificate preferred.
• Master’s degree preferred or intern student in a special education program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement student IEPs and SDI.
• Administer instructional activities that engage students in meaningful learning.
• Identify, select, and modify instructional resources for diverse learners.
• Assist in assessing curricular needs and plan improvements.
• Work with OTs, SLPs, BCBAs, Clinical Specialists and Administrators.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field

Arizona Special Education Credential (or in program)

Mild/Moderate and Moderate/Severe teaching certification
