Special Education Autistic Support Teacher - Fairview Elementary
Permanent contract position. Special Education PA certificate and school based experience required. The WASD is looking for a strong candidate with background knowledge and experience working with learners who have autism and varying disabilities including emotional, behavioral, and social concerns. Applicants must have a strong desire to work with learners who are challenged with academic and behavior needs. The district is interested in teachers who will work in teams to support our students' needs and goals to be successful in school. Candidates who do not hold a valid PA certification (out-of-state credential, relevant professional background without valid PA certification with and the ability to obtain certification as per PDE guidelines) will also be considered.
