Job summary

The Bensalem Township School District is seeking a contracted Autistic Support Special Education Teacher to join four elementary schools for the 2025-2026 school year. This full-time role focuses on ABA-based instruction to support students with autism, implementing IEPs in a structured, supportive setting.

Responsible for planning and delivering individualized instruction, coordinating with paraprofessionals and behavior specialists, and ensuring progress toward IEP goals.

Qualifications

• Must have PA Special Education teaching certification PK-12.
• Full-time contracted position across four elementary schools (Valley, Faust, Cornwells & Belmont).
• Experience supporting students with autism in ABA settings is desirable.

Responsibilities

The Bensalem Township School District wil be hiring a contracted Autistic Support Special Education Teacher starting 2025-2026 School Year at 4 Elementary schools. (4 positions available in total) 1 each at Valley, Faust, Cornwells & Belmont.

Description: Seeking a special education teacher to teach in a specialized ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) classroom supporting students with autism. This full-time position involves working closely with students, paraprofessionals, and behavior specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in a structured, supportive environment.

ASpecial Education Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students identified with a learning disability or other health impairments, to enable them to achieve their maximum potential.
