Qualifications

Job description

Take on a meaningful role providing specialized education support in a dynamic elementary setting designed for students with unique learning profiles. This contract position centers around the Ready, Set, Launch program in a district known for innovative and inclusive student services. The role focuses on working with elementary learners on the autism spectrum and those with distinct developmental needs, collaborating with a dedicated team of professionals to encourage academic and social success.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Special Education Teacher license required (Tier 3 or Tier 4 only)
• Previous experience working with students with autism and/or significant developmental needs highly preferred
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices in special education and behavior management
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Ability to establish rapport and adapt instruction to meet individual student needs

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with IEP goals within the Ready, Set, Launch program
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals, families, and related service providers to promote student growth
• Implement data-driven instructional strategies and monitor student progress
• Develop and maintain clear, accurate records of student performance, behavior, and interventions
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a supportive, structured learning environment that encourages independence and engagement

This is a full-time contract role with a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, offering 37.5 working hours each weekensuring a sense of stability and an opportunity to focus on holistic student success over the school year.

Compensation:
