Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education; preference for Special Education experience.
• Valid teaching certificate with one or more special education endorsements.
• Ability to plan curriculum and adapt lessons for diverse learners.
• Experience maintaining IEPs and student progress records.

Responsibilities

• Plans curriculum, lessons, and special ed programs and teaching methods.
• Instructs individuals and groups on Special Ed skill areas.
• Monitors student progress and maintains the classroom environment.
• Maintains contact with parents and prepares reports and IEPs.
• Participates in weekly Special Ed committee meetings and administers testing.
