Job summary

Ampersand Therapy LLC is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a long-term substitute role in Mahtomedi, MN. The position runs February through June, 8:00–4:00, in-person, full-time with a caseload of about 10 students in a K-2 DCD classroom.

Pay is $50–$60 per hour, with W-2 employment, health benefits, 401(k) with company match, licensure reimbursement, mileage between sites, and mentorship. Prior classroom experience and MN licensure through PELSB are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Education or related field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB.
• Classroom experience preferred.
• Strong collaboration with schools, families and therapists.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed.
