Career Links is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time, in-person role for the 2026–2027 school year in Texas. The position focuses on supporting students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive educational environment.

You will develop and monitor IEPs, adapt instruction to state standards, ensure compliance with IDEA and ARD processes, and collaborate with educators and families to promote academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Texas TEA certification with appropriate Special Education authorization.
• Knowledge of IDEA, ARD processes, IEP development, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with state standards and individualized student goals.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional methods, and materials to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with federal, state, and district special education requirements.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and support staff to ensure student success.
• Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with families and educational team members.
• Implement positive behavior support strategies and classroom management techniques.
