Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Pulaski, TN. You will develop IEPs, provide individualized instruction, and create inclusive learning environments as part of a therapist-led, collaborative team.

The role is full-time (1.0 FTE) with ASAP starting and a competitive hourly rate up to $50, plus benefits and licensure support.

Qualifications

• TN certification for Special Education Teaching with Comprehensive Endorsement (461)
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Special Education
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction across academic subjects
• Manage classroom behavior and create a structured, supportive environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Incorporate technology and resources to enhance learning
