Job summary

Point Quest Group in Odessa, TX is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to lead a classroom of students with diverse learning needs. You will develop and implement IEPs, adapt instruction, and maintain PBIS practices to support positive behavior and student progress.

You will collaborate with families, related service providers, and school staff to align curricula with state standards while documenting progress and participating in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Texas Department of Education Teaching Certificate required.
• Bachelor's degree in special education or related field.
• Preferred: Master’s in Special Education or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience with students with learning and/or social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a special education classroom serving students with diverse learning needs.
• Develop and implement IEPs aligned to state standards.
• Manage classroom behavior using PBIS and track progress.
