Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to join school-age programs across Media, Broomall, and Aston, PA, with opportunities supporting students in Autistic Support, Multiple Disabilities, Life Skills, Emotional Support, and Deaf Education.

You will develop and deliver individualized instruction, implement IEP goals, and collaborate with families and related-service providers to coordinate student support and participate in progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Pennsylvania Special Education Certification preferred; emergency certification pathways may be considered.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

• Develop and deliver individualized instruction and specialized learning experiences that address students’ academic, behavioral, functional, and developmental needs.
• Implement IEP goals, accommodations, modifications, and evidence-based instructional strategies while monitoring and documenting student progress.
• Create a structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment that promotes student engagement, independence, social-emotional development, and success.
• Collaborate with families, related-service providers, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate student support and participate in IEP planning and progress reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification preferred; applicable emergency certification pathways may be considered based on program and district requirements
• Experience supporting students with autism, multiple disabilities, life skills needs, emotional/behavioral needs, or deaf/hard-of-hearing students strongly preferred
