Job summary

Cross Country Education is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support diverse learners across Pre-K–12 settings in Lancaster, SC. You will provide specialized instruction, develop and monitor IEPs, and adapt curriculum to meet students’ needs while working with families and multidisciplinary teams to promote inclusive learning environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Valid South Carolina Special Education Certification, including Multi-Categorical or related certifications (ED, MD, EMD, or TMD/Severe).
• Experience supporting students with disabilities in various classroom settings preferred.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including instructional goals, accommodations, progress monitoring, and required documentation.
• Adapt curriculum, instructional strategies, and behavioral supports to meet students’ diverse academic, functional, and developmental needs while supervising classroom assistants as needed.
• Collaborate with educators, families, classroom assistants, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and promote inclusive learning environments.
