We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Educator to join our team. The Special Educator will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This position requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential.
As a Special Educator at Strides Therapy & Educational Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational journey of students with diverse learning needs. Collaborating closely with a team of fellow Special Educators, your primary responsibility will be to provide tailored support to enhance students' communication and language development within educational settings across Delaware.
This is a hybrid Special Educator position that combines remote services with periodic on-site support. The selected candidate will primarily work remotely; however, the district requests in-person visits approximately 2-4 times per year, with each visit lasting 2-3 weeks. These on-site visits may include conducting evaluations, attending meetings, collaborating with school teams, and providing direct support to students and staff as needed. Travel Benefits: All required travel expenses, including transportation, lodging, and approved work-related travel costs, will be arranged and covered.
