Ampersand Therapy in Dearborn, MI is hiring a Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This in-person, full-time position focuses on building inclusive classrooms and delivering individualized supports under IEPs.

You’ll develop and implement IEP goals, collaborate with school teams and families, maintain compliant documentation, and participate in IEP meetings. We offer competitive pay ($45-60/hour), W-2 employment with benefits and professional expense reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education.
• Active Michigan Special Education Teacher license.
• Previous experience working in the classroom setting is preferred.

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
