Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2026–2027 school year. You’ll provide individualized and small-group instruction, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with school teams to help students succeed.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to provide individualized support and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group specialized instruction.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Provide academic and behavioral support.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.

About the Role

Hello, Special Education Teachers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Teacher to support students in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2026–2027 school year. In this role, you’ll provide individualized and small-group instruction, support students with diverse learning needs, develop and implement IEPs, and collaborate with school teams to help students succeed. You’ll work alongside a collaborative school team and receive support from Ampersand Therapy throughout your assignment.
