Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students with disabilities.
• Implement accommodations and modifications as outlined in students' IEPs.
• Assist students with daily tasks, transitions, and mobility.
• Assist with toileting needs and maintain student dignity.
• Communicate regularly with teachers and special education staff regarding progress and needs.
• Prepare instructional materials and set up classroom activities.
• Monitor progress and reinforce lessons and skills taught in class.
• Support behavior management and safe learning environments.
