Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work with children, staff and parents; sustain physical tasks as needed.
• Participation in district training prior to and during employment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates due process for the special education team.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring students' instructional plans and IEPs.
• Collect observational data and report to the supervising teacher.
• Prepare and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and meetings as requested.
• Enter IEP data and transportation requests as needed.
• Support team and coordinate with the Special Education Coordinator.
