Job summary

Qualifications

• 60 college credits or 2-year degree from an accredited college or university.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with elementary age students.
• Computer skills preferred.
• Flexibility and the ability to work as a cooperative team member.
• Regular, on-time attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide instructional support and assist with implementing IEP goals under supervision.
• Assist with behavior management and health support as needed.
• Data collection and communication of student progress to teachers and related staff.
• Support students with personal cares and de-escalation techniques as needed.
• Monitor and supervise students in lunchroom and playground as needed.
• Provide supervision and support during meals, recess, and field trips.
