Qualifications

• Demonstrated patience with students who have disabilities and diverse needs.
• Ability to implement instructional plans and support teachers.
• Paraprofessional assessment or 48 college credits required for Title I-funded schools.

Responsibilities

• Adapt classroom activities to reinforce objectives under teacher guidance.
• Assist in instructional programs and provide instruction in small groups.
• Support IEP goals and behavioral plans with the IEP team.
• Perform clerical tasks for instructional materials preparation.
• Maintain data collection and documentation of activities and assistance provided to students.
• Attend meetings and professional development trainings.
• Assist with health care needs and personal care tasks as required.
