Responsibilities

• Follow student behavior and health plans.
• Provide support to students with personal cares as needed.
• Observe and document students' academic and social behaviors.
• Collect data on progress toward goals and objectives.
• Communicate student progress to teachers and related staff.
• Use iPads and other devices for communication with non-verbal students.
• Support students with de-escalation techniques and restrictive procedures as needed.
• Supervise students before, during, and after school hours.
• Assist during mealtimes, recess, and field trips.
